Results of the Group Phase

The results of the preliminary matches in Zurich are in, and all the favorites have qualified for the final rounds! This year's surprising upstarts are the Leonding Micros, who are making their international tournament debut.

Topping the standings in the two group-phase divisions of the Mirosot Middle League are the squads from SjF TUKE Robotics in the Czech Republic and AUSTRO representing Vienna University of Technology. SjF TUKE Robotics is also in first place in the Mirosot Large League, followed by the Ljubljana Dragons and Team AUSTRO.

Play in the Mirosot XL League being held for the first time this year has more than lived up to expectations—on the spacious 4.8 x 4 meter pitch, the robots can reach their maximum speed of about 25 kilometers/hour. The most popular attractions with audiences were the anthropomorphous, two-legged Hurosot robots. The top spot in this division in which non-European teams as well are vying for honors is held by the University of Taiwan.
